Dan Lanning giving away Oregon tickets for best sign at ESPN's College GameDay
Dan Lanning wants to make sure the Ducks show up and show out on Saturday when ESPN’s College GameDay comes to campus for a top-10 matchup between Oregon and UCLA.
So the Oregon head coach issued a challenge on Tuesday: the best GameDay sign will earn its owner two free tickets to the game, hand delivered by Lanning himself.
Duck fans don’t forget to set those alarms! I can’t wait to see you bright and early on Saturday. pic.twitter.com/NO6KDt2KBg

GameDay will make its 11th all-time appearance in Eugene and its first since 2018. The Ducks are 7-3 in the 10 previous games, beginning with a 29-10 win over UCLA on Sept. 23, 2000.
“About to be a fun one,” Lanning said on Monday. “Obviously it’s gonna be a great atmosphere for our players, but also our fans. I know me and everybody else in our organization is really excited to see our fans come out in full support. Obviously having College GameDay here is going to be a great event. Getting the opportunity to go against a top-10 team and a really worthy opponent is going to be a fun challenge for us and our players.
“I talked to our guys really early on (Monday) that all this is here because of the work they’ve done. That’s why this is sitting in front of them. But, really, all this outside (noise) has nothing to do with what has to be done on the field and I think our guys realize that and are excited about the opportunity. Definitely excited to see our fans show up early and stay throughout the entire game, stay late, and enjoy the entire event of Saturday and go play this game.”
GameDay will set up on The Quad. The broadcast airs beginning at 6 a.m. PT and runs until 9 a.m. PT. More information on the show can be found here. Kickoff between the Ducks and Bruins is set for 12:30 p.m. PT on FOX.
