Daewood Davis, who played at Oregon for 3 seasons before transferring to Western Kentucky, suffered a scary injury during Saturday’s preseason game between Miami and Jacksonville.
Davis, who plays WR for the Dolphins, had to be carted off the field after lying motionless for several minutes. The NFL later decided to call off the game with just over 8 minutes remaining.

This injury especially hits home for some in the NFL following Damar Hamlin’s terrifying incident last season. Hamlin entered cardiac arrest on the field, but thankfully made a recovery after CPR was performed on him on the field.
Hopefully further good news comes from this scary situation.
