Christian Gonzalez receives unfortunate injury update from Patriots
Christian Gonzalez will unfortunately miss the remainder of the 2023 NFL season with a torn labrum, an injury he suffered in last week’s matchup against the Dallas Cowboys.
That’s just about worst-case scenario for Gonzalez, who has been having a DROY start to his first season in the NFL out of Oregon. The first-round pick by the Patriots has already accounted for 1 interception, 3 pass deflections, 1 sack and 17 tackles.

The Patriots have an answer for Gonzalez’s absence already, too. They traded for Chargers DB and former Patriot JC Jackson Wednesday morning, bringing the veteran presence back to the New England area after a few years in LA.
As for the former Duck, it’s just a waiting game until next season.
