The Oregon product was drafted with the 17th overall pick in this year’s draft by the Patriots. He played in four games with 1 interception, 1 sack, and 17 total tackles before his injury.
The losses keep piling up for the Patriots on the injury report as well. New England is 1-3 heading into Week 5.
Next up on the schedule are the New Orleans Saints. New Orleans is 2-2 after losing an NFC South divisional game to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.
Hopefully Gonzalez’s injury won’t be for too long for the Patriots’ sake.
