Bucky Irving will represent Oregon one more time.

Irving will join quarterback Bo Nix in Oregon’s backfield for the Fiesta Bowl, the program announced on Friday afternoon. Nix previously announced that he planned to play for the Ducks in their bowl game.

Irving’s news was announced in a video shared by Oregon that highlights the Ducks’ success over the past two years with their star-studded backfield:

Irving declared for the NFL Draft earlier this week. He departs Oregon after two seasons in Eugene. Irving rushed for 1,000+ yards in each of the past two seasons for Oregon.

Irving transferred to Oregon following a strong true freshman season at Minnesota in 2021. He and Nix arrived together in Eugene for the 2022 season and have helped lead Oregon to a 21-5 record since joining the program.

Oregon is set to face undefeated Liberty in the Fiesta Bowl. A win would give the Ducks their first 12-win season since 2019 and just their 6th in program history.

Kickoff for the Fiesta Bowl is set for 10 a.m. PT on Jan. 1.
