Brayden Platt is almost ready to make his college commitment.

The 4-star linebacker will chose between Oregon and Oklahoma later this fall, according to 247Sports’ Brandon Huffman. Per the report, Platt will announce his decision on Sept. 4.

Platt is a top target for the Ducks. He took an official visit to Eugene back in June. He also visited Oklahoma last month.

His other offers include programs such as Nebraska, USC, UCLA, Miami, Michigan State and Texas A&M, amongst other top programs.

Platt is the No. 218 overall player and the No. 19 linebacker in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 4 player from the state of Washington.

He attends Yelm High School in Yelm, Washington. He’s listed at 6-foot-2, 240 pounds.

Oregon currently has 19 commits in the class of 2024, including 1 from the state of Washington. The group sits at No. 8 nationally, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
