Brayden Platt will be playing Big Ten football in 2024.

Platt, a 4-star linebacker from Yelm (Wa.) announced his college commitment on Monday night. He will remain in the Pacific Northwest, choosing to play for B1G-bound Oregon over current Big 12 and future SEC program Oklahoma.

Platt is considered the No. 15 linebacker in the country in the 2024 recruiting cycle and the No. 3 player in the state of Washington according to 247Sports’ composite ratings. He currently has a total of 20 offers, but Oklahoma and Oregon emerged as his favorites, and ultimately, the Ducks won out.

The commitment of Platt marks the 22nd of the cycle for Oregon in the 2024 recruiting class. He is the 4th linebacker to pledge to Dan Lanning and the Ducks. Prior to the commitment, the Ducks had the 14th-ranked class in the country, so Platt should give them a bit of a boost.
