Bo Nix and Tysheem Johnson were both named players of the week in the Pac-12 after helping Oregon to a win.

Bo Nix was named the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week on Monday after he led Oregon to a 35-6 win at then-No. 13 Utah. He completed 24-of-31 passes for 248 yards and 2 touchdowns, while he also added 8 rushing yards and 1 touchdown on 4 carries.

This was his second time winning this award in 2023. It is also Nix’s fifth Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week selection, tying him with Marcus Mariota for most all-time in Oregon history.

Tysheem Johnson was also named the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week.

Johnson was one of the main catalysts in helping the Ducks defense hold the Utah offense to just 6 points on Saturday. Johnson reeled in 2 interceptions in the game Saturday, and he was the first Duck defender with multiple interceptions in a game since Nov. 19, 2022.

Johnson is the first Duck defender in 2023 to earn this honor, and it’s only the second time this season that a team has taken home both the Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week awards in the same week.

Oregon returns home to Autzen Stadium this Saturday to take on Cal at 2:30 p.m. PT on the Pac-12 Network.
