Daniel Okoye whittled his offer list to just 10 Saturday, including 2 schools out of the Pac-12. Oregon was one of the 10 programs to make the cut.

Okoye, the No. 1 player out of the state of Oklahoma per 247Sports, is quickly rising the national ranks. The 6-4, 241 edge rusher out of Oklahoma had his pick from some of the best schools in the country, and included the likes of Colorado, Nebraska, Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, LSU and Texas A&M.

Below is his announcement, via his personal Twitter account:

For fairly obvious reasons, Oklahoma seems to be the favorite for Okoye, but his recruitment is far from over. Oregon offered Okoye in October of 2022.

Okoye is considered to be the No. 148 prospect in the country according to 247Sports’ composite rankings. He’s also considered to be the No. 12 overall edge rusher on top of being the ultimate prize in the state.
