What goes around, comes around.

Colorado lost a commitment from former Marshall transfer receiver EJ Horton Sunday. Horton announced that he would be flipping his commitment from the Buffs to West Virginia.

This comes right after Colorado flipped fellow wide receiver transfer Jaylen Ellis from West Virginia last week. The Buffs also received a commitment from Northwestern State receiver Javon Antonio Sunday afternoon.

According to a report from 247Sports, Horton visited West Virginia directly after committing to Colorado on May 4.

And the Marshall transfer is a capable up-and-coming prospect. He left the Thundering Herd after 3 seasons, 2 of which he mostly sat on the bench. He appeared in 12 games last season for Marshall though, totaling 12 passe for 186 yards and a touchdown. He’s speedy, too, and could have been a strong receiver for Shedeur Sanders under center.
