Spencer Tillman offered some thoughts about Deion Sanders’ wild Colorado debut win. Colorado upset No. 17 TCU in Fort Worth 45-42.

Tillman credited Coach Prime for the outstanding job he did in the season opener. Prime’s son and starting quarterback, Shedeur Sanders, didn’t disappoint either.

“They did not disappoint today. I hope everybody saw that game today, it was incredible. Shedeur Sanders, what a wonderful job he did. He was at an 80 percent clip throwing the ball, 510 yards passing. Incredible. That’s the grandest, most spectacular opening for a quarterback facing a Power 5 opponent that I’ve ever seen. How about Primetime? Any time this guy shows up with the Colorado Buffaloes, it’s gonna be special, because they are primetime.”

The Coach Prime era at Colorado is off to a great start. Upsetting a ranked opponent in the first game will go a long way.

After all of the hype during the offseason it looks like Coach Prime and company are living up to expectations so far.

The next team on the schedule for the Buffaloes is Nebraska. Sanders will be looking to extend Colorado’s win streak to three games against Nebraska.

That game will take place on Sept. 9 at Noon ET on FOX. Can Coach Prime keep the wins coming?
