Shedeur Sanders has sort of turned this into his signature thing. Like Dame Time, but flashier.

After Colorado kicked a field goal with 12 seconds left to beat Arizona State 27-24 on Saturday night in Tempe, the CU quarterback made his way over to the ASU student section to flash his watch. He did the same thing against Colorado State several weeks ago as well. Colorado’s win snapped a two-game skid and sent Arizona State to its fifth consecutive loss.

After the game, Sanders said there was no doubt Colorado would be able to make plays late to win.

The Sun Devils scored a game-tying touchdown with 50 seconds to play that knotted the game at 24-24. Sanders then led a five-play, 50-yard drive to set up the game-winning field goal.

“It was like practice,” Sanders said after the game. “They left too much time on the clock and we knew that. Nobody on the sideline panicked, (or) flinched. Nobody didn’t believe. The coaches just knew what was going to happen. I definitely knew what was going to happen.

“They simply left too much time on the clock. You know what mode we went — we went Brady mode. That’s legendary mode.”

Sanders finished the game with 239 yards and one touchdown through the air. He completed 26 of his 42 passes while being sacked five times.
