Nahmier Robinson will be a Pac-12 athlete. Robinson, however, won’t be carrying on the family legacy.

Father Nate Robinson and grandfather Jacque Robinson played for Washington. Nahmier announced Friday that he’ll play for Deion Sanders at Colorado.

This time of year, most recruits announcing commitments are either transfers or high school prospects in the Class of 2024. Robinson, however, is a 2023 prospect, meaning he will join the Buffaloes this fall. On 247Sports, Robinson is a 3-star defensive back, but his only scholarship offer was from FCS program Portland State. According to his 247Sports profile, Robinson also drew walk-on interest from Washington and Colorado State.

In his senior season, Robinson recorded 11 touchdowns, 8 interceptions and 31 tackles. Highlights from that season can be viewed below, via Hudl:
