Karl Dorrell updates status of several injured Colorado players ahead of Arizona game
Trent Carrizosa will once again handle punter duties for Colorado on Saturday against Arizona.
CU head coach Karl Dorrell updated the status of several injured Buffs on Wednesday, and revealed that Ashton Logan remains out, so Carrizosa will be the man at punter for the second straight game. Dorrell also said that running back Jayle Stacks and wideout Chase Penry might be able to go after both missed last week’s game against UCLA.
Colorado HC Karl Dorrell said RB Jayle Stacks (shoulder) and WR Chase Penry (leg contusion) could both play at Arizona. Both missed Saturday's game vs. UCLA. Punter Ashton Logan is still out, so walk-on Trent Carrizosa will handle punting duties. #cubuffs

Carrizosa punted five times against the Bruins last Saturday and averaged 46 yards a punt. A true freshman walk-on from San Jose, California, Carrizosa had an impressive debut in his first-ever college game. He downed three of his punts inside the UCLA 20. His first punt also went 51 yards.
With the offense struggling, UCLA’s punt team has gotten plenty of action early on this season. The Buffs have punted 22 total times in four games. As CU looks for its first victory on the year, every yard can help. We’ll see if Carrizosa can follow up his strong debut with some consistency.
Stacks has nine carries for 15 yards in three appearances this season. Penry has a catch for 11 yards. CU faces Arizona in Tucson at 6:30 p.m. PT on the Pac-12 Network.
