ESPN's College GameDay crew makes picks in Colorado-Arizona State game
ESPN’s College GameDay crew was almost unanimous in its picks for the Colorado-Arizona State showdown in Tempe on Saturday afternoon.
Lee Corso was the only member of the traveling pregame show who picked the Sun Devils to beat the Buffs. Everyone else sided with Deion Sanders and Colorado to rebound from back-to-back losses.
- Desmond Howard: Colorado
- Pat McAfee: Colorado
- Baker Mayfield: Colorado
- Lee Corso: Arizona State
- Kirk Herbstreit: Colorado
“Too much Shedeur,” Herbstreit said.
Shedeur Sanders was held down in a Week 4 drubbing at Oregon, but he regained his groove a week ago against USC.
The Buffs lost 48-41, but they trailed 48-21 with two minutes to play in the third quarter. Led by Sanders, the Buffs scored the game’s final 20 points to tighten the screws on USC and put the pressure on the Trojans’ defense. Sanders threw for 371 yards and four touchdowns in the effort.
Arizona State is looking to snap a four-game losing skid.
Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. PT on the Pac-12 Network.
