Deion Sanders has had ongoing issues with his feet, and the Colorado coach is now facing possible life-altering complications.

Sanders in 2021 had 2 toes amputated after he developed life-threatening blood clots from a previous surgery.

This time, Sanders shared a video of a meeting with doctors where he was told that he could again potentially lose his left foot. It was a similar issue in 2021, when doctors saved the foot, but he missed a significant portion of the season as his assistants took on more responsibility.

Some of the arteries that were treated by the doctors in Mississippi are only getting 66% of the blood pressure that his arm is getting as he’s dealing with chronic pain in his foot. Doctors referred to arteries being shut down, and instead of 3 arteries flowing to his foot, Sanders only has one.

“I know the risks. We’ve had this conversation before,” Sanders said. “That’s how we got here.”

Sanders is already concerned about possible medical procedures or treatments interfering with coaching the Buffaloes.

“I just want to know what we can do, so we can do it this summer. Because when we get rolling, I’m not going to have time to do it,” Sanders said.
