Colorado set to lose second-year cornerback to transfer portal
Colorado cornerback Keyshon Mills announced on social media Tuesday morning that he plans to enter his name into the transfer portal when the spring window opens later this week.
Mills was a 2022 signee with the Buffs who arrived on campus last summer and took a redshirt his first year with the team.
I will be entering my name in the transfer portal on April 15.

The 6-foot-1, 175-pound cornerback from Little Elm (Texas) High was a 3-star recruit in the industry-generated 247 Composite. He picked CU over offers from Kansas, Buffalo, and Liberty.
But he did not appear in a game last fall.
And with competition looking fierce for snaps at cornerback this upcoming fall, Mills appeared to be looking at another year without much time on the field. First-year head coach Deion Sanders overhauled the position in a hurry.
Travis Hunter is expected to play both corner and wideout for the Buffs. Five-star 2023 signee Cormani McClain will arrive this summer and compete for immediate playing time opposite Hunter.
CU also signed two other corners from the transfer portal — Tayvion Beasley and Kyndrich Breedlove — and returns the top snap-getter at the position from last year’s squad in Nikko Reed.
