Colorado players had jewelry stolen out of their lockers during Saturday’s game against UCLA at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.

Deion Sanders Jr. documented the discovery on his YouTube page. Pasadena Police confirmed to The L.A. Times’ Ben Bolch on Monday that jewelry was taken during the game and that an investigation is ongoing. Private security and the Pasadena Police Department were in charge on the scene, but there is no video surveillance inside the locker room.

Colorado lost to UCLA 28-16, dropping the Buffs to 4-4 on the season. After a 3-0 start, CU has lost four of its last five.

Because of the hot start, Colorado quickly became one of the most divisive teams in college football.

Deion Sanders attracted a flurry of new fans to Boulder and eyeballs to the Buffaloes, but Colorado’s struggles during Pac-12 play have been met with cheers from a large portion of the general college football public who want to see the Buffs fail.

CU returns home in Week 10, when it hosts No. 16 Oregon State as part of homecoming weekend.
