Colorado lands highly-touted QB commit in class of 2024
Colorado has earned a commitment from 2024 quarterback prospect Danny O’Neil.
O’Neil shared that decision on Tuesday morning. Here’s his announcement:

“Thank you to all of the coaches who gave me the opportunity to continue my career for their school. And lastly I want to thank God for blessing me and allowing me to play the game I love,” O’Neil wrote in-part. “With that being said l will be continuing my athletic and academic career and the University of Colorado.”
He also had offers from programs like Kentucky, West Virginia, Houston, Northwestern, Purdue and several other top programs.
O’Neil is listed at 6-foot, 185 pounds. He attends Cathedral High School in Indianapolis.
O’Neil is a major addition to Colorado’s 2024 recruiting class. He’s currently ranked as the No. 33 quarterback in the country for this cycle, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 6 player from the state of Indiana.
Deion Sanders’ coaching staff is off to a fast start in the class of 2024. The Buffs already have commitments from 5 players. The class currently ranks in the top 20 of 247Sports Composite rankings.
