Colorado added a major recruit to its 2024 class on Sunday afternoon.

The Buffs earned a commitment from 4-star receiver Zycarl Lewis Jr. He chose Colorado over offers from programs such as Florida State, Auburn, Georgia and Florida, amongst others.

Lewis committed at the end of his official visit this weekend. Colorado initially offered him a scholarship last month.

Lewis is a big-time get for Colorado. He’s the No. 342 overall player and the No. 51 receiver in the country for the class of 2024, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 54 player from the state of Florida.

He attends Carrollwood Day High School in Tampa, Florida. He’s listed at 5-foot-10, 160 pounds.

Colorado now has 7 commitments in the class of 2024. Lewis is the top-ranked offensive player currently committed to Colorado. The Group ranks No. 31 nationally, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
