Colorado dipped into Florida Wednesday to secure some playmaking out wide on offense. Wideout Isaiah Hardge announced on Twitter that he has committed to coach Karl Dorrell and the Buffaloes.

Hardge is a 2023 wideout from St. Thomas Aquinas (Fla.) and rated by the 247 Composite as a 3-star prospect. He gives the Buffs their 10th known pledge in the 2023 class, picking Dorrell and offensive coordinator Mike Sanford’s offense over offers from Florida, Penn State, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, and Maryland, among others.

As a junior, Hardge helped St. Thomas Aquinas capture a Florida 7A state title, catching 22 balls for 355 yards and six touchdowns in an offense that also featured Division I signees at wideout (Auburn), tight end (LSU), and quarterback (UConn). The 5-foot-10 Hardge is rated as the 97th-best wideout in his class and the 708th prospect overall.

“I like [Coach Sanford] and how he coaches and how he calls plays,” Hardge told 247Sports. “I’m going to give them everything I got. I’m trying to hold myself to a certain standard, which is only going to make me better.”
