Cal received a commitment Wednesday evening from Lafayette (Calif.) Acalanes wide receiver Trevor Rogers.

The 3-star wideout also held FBS offers from Army, Colorado State, Fresno State, UMass, Nevada, San Diego State, San Jose State, Washington State, and Wyoming. He took an official visit to CSU last weekend, but ultimately decided to stay close to home.

Rogers is a 6-foot-3, 200-pound pass-catcher. He doesn’t yet have a ranking in the industry-generated 247 Composite, though that’ll likely change in the near future with his addition to a Power Five class. The evaluators at 247Sports have him pegged as the No. 116 recruit in the state and the No. 187 wideout in the 2024 class.

As a junior last fall, he was highly productive, hauling in 58 receptions for 1,120 yards (19.3 per catch) and 15 touchdowns. He had five scores as a sophomore. Rogers also played a little defense for Acalanes, adding an interception last fall as well.
