Aaron Rodgers’ future has the NFL rumor mill running wild right now. While the long-time Green Bay Packers quarterback is being linked to other teams, the former Cal standout said fans should not expect to see him back in the Bay Area.

During the Pebble Beach Pro-Am, Rodgers was asked if he had any news to share. Rodgers didn’t have much to say but ruled out playing for the San Francisco 49ers.

“I’m not going to San Fran,” Rodgers said to Colt Knost.

San Francisco is one of many teams that looks to be in the market for a 2023 quarterback. Rodgers recently appeared on The Pat McAfee Show to discuss his future. He says he hasn’t decided on 2023, but noted that it appears the Packers have already been discussing potential trades:

“It sounds like there’s already conversations going on that aren’t involving me, which are interesting,” Rodgers said on the show.

The Packers selected Rodgers as the No. 24 overall pick out of Cal. He has been with the Packers since 2005, winning Super Bowl XLV and season MVP honors 4 times. Rodgers, 39, is originally from Chico, California.
