Veteran DE no longer present on Arizona football's 2023 roster
There was a change made to Arizona’s 2023 football roster on Tuesday. One player is no longer listed, according to Troy Hutchinson of Rivals.
The player in question is DE Jason Harris. The DE started his college career at Colorado, before transferring to Arizona in 2021. Harris was with the program from 2021-2023.
Harris appeared in two total games in the last couple of seasons. He recorded 2 total tackles from his time with the Wildcats.
Arizona defensive end Jason Harris is not listed on the Wildcats’ 2023 roster.
Harris was on the field during the second scrimmage of camp and even saw some reps with the third string defense.

Harris wore No. 6 while playing for the Wildcats. Someone has already taken that number from him. Linebacker Taye Brown now wears No. 6.
Harris was a former 4-star WDE via the 2020 class. He is a native of Gilbert, Arizona. The 247Sports Composite ranked Harris at No. 13 for his position and No. 8 in the state.
There has been no announcement from Arizona or Harris yet on why the player’s name is not on the roster anymore. Harris took part in the second scrimmage of Arizona’s camp and was seen taking reps with the third-string defense.
