The Pac-12 has handed out its latest weekly honors for men’s basketball, the 13th installment for the 2022-23 season.

As voted on by media who cover the league, Arizona’s Ąžuolas Tubelis was named Player of the Week, and the Freshman of the Week honor went to USC’s Tre White.

Tubelis scored career-high 40 points on 16-of-21 shooting in 91-76 victory over Oregon. He also added 9 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals against Ducks. The 40-point performance was the most for an NCAA Division I player against a power conference opponent since Dec. 2021, and the most for an Arizona player since Damon Stoudamire in March 1995 (40 vs. WSU). It’s also the first for a Conference player without a made three since March 2006 (Leon Powe – 41 vs. Oregon).

For his part, White averaged 18.0 points on 64 percent shooting (16-25 FG), 5.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists as USC swept the Washington schools. He opened week with 14 points on 6-of-9 shooting in 80-70 win over Washington State.
