Arizona became just the 11th No. 2 seed to lose to a No. 15 seed in the history of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday.

The Princeton Tigers scored the final nine points of the game β€” holding Arizona scoreless over the final four-plus minutes of game action β€” to hand the Pac-12 champion Wildcats a 59-55 loss. Arizona’s seven-man rotation was largely ineffective as Princeton dictated the pace of the game and held the UA to its lowest scoring output of the Tommy Lloyd era.

Arizona over Princeton was one of the most popular picks in the tournament, and the Wildcats’ loss busted just about everyone’s bracket. Some shared pain on social media while others got off their jokes at the expense of Arizona.
