Jacob Cowing transferred from UTEP to Arizona ahead of the 2022 season and was a star for the Wildcats.

He was 1 of 2 receivers on the team to put up 1,000 receiving yards, along with Dorian Singer. But while Singer is hitting the transfer portal, Cowing is not.

On Monday night, Cowing took to Twitter to share a video in which he announced he’s returning to Arizona for the 2023 campaign:

That’s huge news for the Wildcats. While Singer led the Pac-12 in receiving yards with 1,105, Cowing was right behind him (and No. 4 in the conference) with 1,034 yards. He also had a team-high 85 catches and scored 7 touchdowns.

Whatever else happens with Arizona’s offense during this busy portal season, at least the Wildcats know they’re getting one of their top offensive weapons back. That’s a huge boost heading into the 2023 season in Tucson.

Now we’ll see if Cowing can put together the third 1,000-yard season of his collegiate career.
