The Big 12 may not be done poaching teams from the Pac-12.

Brandon Marcello of 247Sports reports that Arizona is the “primary target” of Big 12 commissioner Brett Yormark.

Marcello’s report details that Arizona’s board of regents has “expressed a desire” to remain in the same conference as Arizona State. However, ASU’s conference membership is not a “roadblock” for the Wildcats to follow Colorado to the Big 12, per Marcello.

The Big 12’s biggest concern is getting to an even number of teams for scheduling purposes. Colorado makes 13 members for 2024-25.

We’ll see if Arizona becomes member No. 14 for the Big 12 or stays put in the Pac-12.
