Arizona the only school in the country with top-15 men's and women's hoops, softball, and baseball teams
Arizona men’s basketball is currently 19-2. Arizona women’s basketball is 17-3.
Arizona softball begins its season on Feb. 10, looking to build off last season’s 41-win campaign that earned the Wildcats a trip to the Women’s College World Series. The Cats’ baseball side gets its season rolling on Feb. 18, hopeful to follow up last season’s 45-win success and earn a trip back to the CWS.
It’s a pretty good time to be a UA fan right now. The program shared Monday that it is the only Division I school in the country that can claim both basketball teams and both stickball teams are ranked among the nation’s top 15 teams.

The Wildcat men jumped back into the top five of this week’s AP hoops poll after wins over then-No. 3 UCLA and then-No. 21 USC last week. The women’s hoops side followed up a hard-fought loss to No. 2 Stanford last Sunday with double-digit wins over Oregon and Oregon State last week. Both teams are a combined 23-0 this season at home.
The UA softball team will open its season ranked No. 11 in the USA Softball Preseason Top 25 and No. 9 in the NFCA Top 25 Preseason Coaches Poll
