Arizona picked up a key recruit in the class of 2024 on Sunday afternoon.

The Wildcats earned a commitment from 3-star tight end Charlie Crowell out of Oregon. He chose Arizona over programs such as Cal, Washington State and Air Force, amongst others.

Here’s his announcement:

Crowell is a significant addition for Arizona. He’s the No. 71 tight end in the country for the class of 2024, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 6 player from the state of Oregon.

He attends Summit High School in Bend, Oregon. He’s listed at 6-foot-5, 230 pounds.

Crowell took an official visit to Arizona earlier this month. He initially received an offer from the Wildcats back in April of this year.

Arizona now has 17 commits in the class of 2024. Crowell is the only tight end and the only Oregon native in the class so far. The group sits at No. 37 nationally in the 247Sports Composite rankings.
