Arizona is working on the 2024 recruiting class, and the Wildcats landed another piece to the puzzle Saturday.

This time, the commitment comes from a 3-star athlete out of California. The player is Chance Harrison, a 6-foot-1 and 175-pound prospect out of Rio Mesa High School in Oxnard, California.

Harrison committed to Arizona over other offers that included Washington State, Colorado State, Boston College and San Diego State. He previously committed to BYU in September but reopened his recruitment in June.

According to the 247 Sports Composite, Harrison is a 3-star recruit and the No. 139 ATH in the country for the class of 2024. He projects as a wide receiver or defensive back at the next level.

The addition of Harrison brings Jedd Fisch’s Wildcats up to 20 commitments for the cycle, a group that ranked 34th nationally by the 247 Sports Team Composite prior to the commitment. Following Friday’s realignment news, it will be interesting to see how Arizona’s recruiting class stacks up against the Big 12 for 2024.
