On Saturday, Arizona announced it had signed the highest-ranked recruit in program history.

Following a coaching change at Oregon and a continued pursuit from the Wildcats, 4-star wideout Tetairoa McMillan de-committed from the Ducks class on the final day of the Early Signing Period and flipped his pledge to Arizona.

McMillan is ranked as the 46th overall prospect in the 2022 class and the 5th-best wideout in his class, per the 247 Composite. He becomes the highest-ranked player in a class that now runs 21-deep and ranks 34th nationally and 3rd in the Pac-12.

In Tucson, he’ll link up with current Servite (Ca.) High School teammates Noah Fifita, Keyan Burnett and Jacob Manu. Per 247Sports, Fifita and Burnett were key.

“I loved it out there,” McMillan told the recruiting service. “Being out there with Noah and Keyan at that time was really special because I got a feel for what it would be like if we all got to play together in college.”

McMillan finished up his senior season with 88 catches for 1,302 yards and 18 touchdowns while adding 35 tackles and 8 interceptions on the defensive side of the ball.
