Arizona is on fire on the recruiting trail as the Early Signing Period draws closer.

On Monday, the Wildcats picked up their third commitment of the day by flipping Seattle (Wash.) Garfield athlete from his Cal commitment. He’d been verbally committed to the Golden Bears since July, but Arizona got him on campus for an official visit last week and was able to pull out all the stops.

The 6-foot, 180-pounder from Garfield is a 3-star prospect in the industry-generated 247 Composite. Clark is ranked as the No. 47 athlete in the class and the No. 8 recruit from the state of Washington. The in-house evaluators at 247Sports are much higher on him, labeling him a 4-star recruit and the No. 21 athlete in the cycle.

Clark plays receiver and defensive back at the high school level. He also runs track, and posted an 11.53 100m as a sophomore as well as a 23.43 in the 200m.

Arizona also scored commitments from junior college defensive lineman Bryce Butler and Tennessee transfer safety Jack Luttrell on Monday. Ahead of Wednesday’s signing period, the Wildcats’ 2024 class holds 19 known commitments and ranks 49th nationally.
