Arizona bringing in four legends to coach Red, Blue teams in upcoming spring game
A 1-11 team last year, Arizona is hoping to show improvement across the board as it comes out of what was an encouraging spring period. As such, the Wildcats are giving the fanbase every reason to come out Saturday for the 2022 Spring Game. Tickets will be free, and a handful of legends are joining the team as honorary coaches.
Three-time Super Bowl champion Tedy Bruschi will serve as the head coach for the Blue team and eight-time national championship-winning softball coach Mike Candrea will serve as the team’s assistant head coach. On the other side, Lance Briggs, a seven-time Pro Bowl linebacker for the Chicago Bears, will coach the Red team with Arizona women’s basketball coach Adia Barnes serving as the team’s assistant head coach.
