Arizona basketball is in the process of compiling a strong recruiting class for head coach Tommy Lloyd, and the Wildcats added an elite commitment for the cycle Wednesday evening.

The player is Carter Bryant, a 5-star small forward and one of the best players in the country for the 2024 recruiting class. His final decision came down to Louisville and Arizona after reeling in a number of offers from around the country.

When it was all said and done, Lloyd’s program landed the pledge from Bryant:

Listed at 6-foot-8 and 225 pounds, Bryant is rated as the top player out of California via the 247 Sports Composite. He’s also rated as the 11th overall player in the country the No. 5 SF for the cycle out of Sage Hill School in Newport Coast, California.

The commitment from Bryant gives Arizona two players in the 2024 recruiting class alongside 4-star SG Jamari Phillips. Both players are top 30 prospects for the cycle as Lloyd looks to keep strong recruiting results rolling for the Wildcats.
