A former 4-star prospect from Florida, Solomon announced on Instagram that he intends to transfer to Arizona.

It’s another recruiting win for the Wildcats, who have found some serious success on the trail despite a rough 2021 season.

Solomon appeared in 23 games over his three-year career in Ann Arbor. Originally recruiting by former Michigan and Arizona assistant Don Brown to play the viper position in the Wolverines defense, Solomon had offers from all over the Power Five ranks. He played in 11 games as a true freshman in 2019, though primarily as a special teams player. In 2020, he recorded five tackles in five appearances. He played in seven games this past season, but didn’t register a stat.

The Cats are working on a top-25 recruiting class this cycle and the second-best class in the Pac-12. Solomon’s addition will provide further juice to a pretty talented crop of incoming players. He’ll have three years to play two.
