Kenny Dillingham compliments Jaden Rashada's transition to starting role: 'He earned it'
Kenny Dillingham made a decision on the starting QB for the season opener. Arizona State will be going with Jaden Rashada for Week 1.
Rashada’s completion percentage in the last week or so “skyrocketed” in Dillingham’s words. Rashada seemed to improve every day, which set him apart from the others.
“He got better every single day. His completion percentage in the last week and a half of practice skyrocketed. You saw the comfort. Then, his ability to throw the ball down the field is a huge compliment to what we can do offensively. But in reality, he just kept getting better every day and he earned it. He just kept growing and battling and deserved it.”
