Everything Arizona State head coach Herm Edwards said to preview fall camp

“We have 43 new players. Right now, it seems to me from afar when I watch them gel, watched some of them in the spring, now we’ve added some more, a very tight-knit group of guys,” head coach Herm Edwards said of his team over the weekend at Pac-12 Media Day. “How will they play together? How will they collectively come together? I think you probably won’t know that until after the third week of competition, what kind of team. You have these aspirations of doing certain things, but I think after three weeks, you’re going to figure out how they play together. I’ve told the team that. Then you can determine what type of team you are.

And that clock starts this week. Here’s everything Edwards said on Monday.

Herm Edwards on whether the NCAA investigation will have a continuing impact on this year's team:

"I don't think it had an impact on last year's team, quite honest. Just went to work."
