Devan Cambridge, former ASU forward, announces Big 12 transfer destination
Devan Cambridge, a former Arizona State hoops power forward, announced Saturday that he will be taking his talents to Lubbock, Texas to play for Texas Tech.
Cambridge announced that he would be transferring away from the program at the end of last season with 1 year of eligibility remaining. He played at ASU for just 1 season after starting his career in the SEC at Auburn.
Originally, Cambridge committed to Dana Altman and Oregon but soon backed out. Now, he’s heading to the Big 12.

As you can see above, Cambridge averaged 9.8 points and 5.4 rebounds per game for the Sun Devils in 2022-23 at an efficient 50% clip. He and his brother Desmond were 2 of ASU’s top players from a team that made the Field of 68 with a 23-13 record by season’s end.
