College basketball insider weighs in on Arizona State's bubble status ahead of showdown with UCLA
Arizona State has a chance to punch its ticket to the NCAA Tournament on Thursday, according to one college basketball insider.
Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports describes Arizona State at UCLA (7 p.m. MST, ESPN) as a “win and in” type scenario for the Sun Devils. Rothstein calls the Pac-12 clash the game of the night in college basketball.
UCLA is No. 4 in the latest NET rankings. ASU recently upset No. 11 Arizona on the road at the buzzer.
Why is tonight a WIN and IN type scenario for Arizona State in Westwood?
NO bubble team is missing the NCAA Tournament if it has road wins at both Arizona and UCLA.
