Arizona State basketball scored a big-time recruiting win on Saturday.

Castaic (Calif.) Southern California Academy guard Braelon Green has committed to the Sun Devils and coach Bobby Hurley, according to multiple reports. Green chose ASU over NC State and Nebraska.

The 6-foot-3, 175-pound guard rates as a 4-star in the industry-generated 247 Composite. He’s the 129th-ranked overall prospect in the 2023 class and the 22nd-ranked shooting guard. A long, athletic guard who can play off-ball or handle the point, Green is the second verbal commit for ASU in the 2023 class.

“I think it was the relationship with the coaches and I am going to be playing for a coach that played my position and played in the positions that I want to be in in the future,” he told 247Sports’ Travis Branham. “I also love the style of play and how he lets his guards play and all of the opportunities away from basketball that ASU presents was perfect for me.”
