Arizona State set to add 2 key assistants to Kenny Dillingham's staff, per reports
Arizona State is entering a new era with Kenny Dillingham at the helm of the program, replacing Herm Edwards.
Dillingham is crafting his own coaching staff in Tempe, and recently, he’s reportedly made 2 big additions to that staff.
Per Jourdan Rodrigue, Los Angeles Rams RB coach Ra’Shaad Samples is heading to Arizona State to serve as the Sun Devils’ WR coach and passing game coordinator:
Rams RBs coach Ra’Shaad Samples plans to accept Arizona State’s offer to become WR coach/coordinate the passing game, per source. An expanded role in designing/calling pass game made for a strong offer to Samples, who had been pursued by CFB programs through first season in NFL.

Meanwhile, Matt Zenitz of On3 Sports reported that Dillingham was hiring Bryan Carrington away from TCU to be the team’s new CB coach:
Arizona State is expected to hire TCU’s Bryan Carrington as cornerbacks coach, sources tell @on3sports.
Carrington, regarded as one of the nation’s top recruiters, was Tom Herman’s director of recruiting at Texas. Spent last year at USC. https://t.co/o5R9TBE8YN

Carrington will obviously be a big piece in recruiting for Dillingham and the Sun Devils. His ties to the state of Texas will be crucial for the Sun Devils as they try to rebuild their program.
Who else will join Dillingham in Tempe? We’ll find out how things progress this coaching carousel season ahead of the 2023 campaign. So far, though, so good for the young head coach at Arizona State.
