Arizona State originally planned to wear black-out alternate uniforms on Saturday against Colorado. The uniform was revealed just before the season started, and it features special trim around the numbers and accents that glow in the dark.

With the game kicking off at 3:30 p.m. PT, there’s not much reason to waste the look. So Arizona State is pivoting to a more classic uniform to host the Buffs. The Sun Devils will rock their maroon jerseys with yellow pants and yellow helmets.

ASU is 1-4 on the year and has dropped four straight games as injuries have ravaged the team. Still, Saturday’s game against the upstart Buffs (3-2, 0-2 Pac-12) will be in front of a sold-out Mountain America Stadium.

Colorado is coming off back-to-back losses against top-10 teams. The first of those two losses was ugly. Last week’s game, a 48-41 loss to USC, saw the buffs storm back from a 27-point third-quarter deficit to put the pressure on the Trojans late.

Arizona State hasn’t scored more than 28 points this season. Colorado has scored more than 30 points in four of its five games. The Sun Devils will need to bring the fight to halt this losing skid.

Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. PT on the Pac-12 Network.
