ASU wrapped up Finau’s commitment in just over a week. Finau announced his transfer portal entry on March 30.
I am officially in the transfer portal as a Grad Transfer. Thank you to all my teammates and coaches as well as everyone associated with Purdue. I trust that this is part of God’s plan for me . 🙏🏽

It’s the second transfer for Finau. He joined Purdue for the 2022 season after playing at Florida International.
With the Boilermakers, Finau was primarily a reserve in 2022, getting a start in the Citrus Bowl. He was reportedly working with Purdue’s starters this spring before entering the transfer portal. As a graduate transfer, Finau has immediate eligibility for the 2023 season.
Kenny Dillingham’s program added former Ole Miss DB Roman Rashada from the portal on Saturday.
