Arizona State just got a lot better.

The Sun Devils landed a commitment from 4-star quarterback Jaden Rashada on Wednesday morning. Rashada was previously committed to Florida and Miami, but he ends up with Arizona State.

Here’s his announcement:

Rashada is a huge get for Kenny Dillingham and his staff. He’s the No. 82 overall player and the No. 7 quarterback in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

He’s listed at 6-foot-4, 175 pounds. He attended Pittsburg High School in Pittsburgh, California.

Rashada signed with the Gators during the Early Signing Period, but requested — and was granted — his release from his national letter of intent after his NIL deal reportedly fell through.

Arizona State also has a commitment from 3-star quarterback Israel Carter in this class. However, Carter has not yet signed with the program. He originally committed to Arizona State back in April.

Rashada’s father, Harlen Rashada, played defensive back for the Sun Devils in the 1990’s.

Here are some highlights from Rashada’s junior season:
