Arizona State is going with a blackout on Saturday when it welcomes Oklahoma State to Mountain America Stadium.

In keeping with the theme, Frank Kush Field got a few updates ahead of the matchup. The ASU logo at midfield will be blacked out, as will the “Sun Devils” and “Arizona State” wordmarks in the endzone. The endzones also make use of a flame font.

ASU will be wearing black alternates for the game with maroon helmets.

This also won’t be the only time this season the Sun Devils roll with an all-black look in a game. Arizona State also plans to wear a new black alternate for its game against Colorado on Oct. 7.

ASU and Oklahoma State met in Stillwater last season, a game that ended with a 34-17 Cowboy victory.

The Sun Devils opened the 2023 campaign with a 24-21 win over Southern Utah last week. It was a clunky game, one that featured a nearly three-hour weather delay at halftime and persistent rain in the second half. Oklahoma State won its opener over Central Arkansas last week, 27-13.

Kickoff on Saturday is set for 7:30 p.m. PT on FS1.
