Standing at 6-foot-11, Smith’s size will be crucial for the Sun Devils next season.
Smith is the first player to commit to Arizona State for the Class of 2024, but with the season starting soon, the recruits should start coming in.
The Sun Devils are coming off a solid 23-13 season that saw them make the NCAA Tournament before a second-round exit to TCU. Arizona State is looking for another tournament appearance this season, and it will begin the 2023-24 campaign with a tough game against Mississippi State on Nov. 8, entering the 8th season under head coach Bobby Hurley.
