Arizona State adds commitment from Class of 2025 QB out of California
One of the top quarterbacks in the Class of 2025 announced his commitment to Arizona State Tuesday evening.
Michael “Butter” Tollefson, a 4-star dual-threat QB out of San Juan Capistrano, California, is the recruit in question. The 6-1, 195 signal caller is set to enter his junior year at J Serra Catholic.
He chose the Sun Devils over the likes of Georgia, Florida State, Miami, Tennessee and Utah, to name a few.

This is Arizona State’s first commitment of the 2025 class. The Sun Devils do not currently have a QB committed in the Class of 2024.
Tollefson is considered to be the No. 222 prospect in the nation, as well as the No. 14 QB and No. 25 player out of the state of California.
