Deion Sanders’ son Shilo Sanders has made it official. Shilo will once again play for his father.

On Saturday evening, Shilo Sanders announced his transfer commitment to Colorado. The former Jackson State safety shared the big news on social media.

Shilo Sanders began his college career at South Carolina in 2019. He spent 2 seasons with the Gamecocks, playing in 13 games. He recorded 32 tackles.

The past 2 seasons, Sanders played for his father at Jackson State. In 2021, Sanders recorded 4 interceptions, 2 forced fumbles, 7 pass breakups and 39 tackles in 13 games to earn second-team All-SWAC honors. This past season, Sanders posted 1 interception, 5 passes defended and 20 tackles in 7 games.

Shilo Sanders is the 8th Jackson State player to follow Deion Sanders to Colorado, a group that includes brother Shedeur Sanders. Shilo Sanders has been in the transfer portal since Dec. 17, but remained at JSU to complete his degree, per ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg.

As a graduate transfer, Sanders will have immediate eligibility for the Buffaloes in 2023.
